Hi, I’m

Arriane Munar, Psy.D.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the assessment and diagnosis of children and young adults. I am passionate about utilizing standardized, evidence-based assessment measures and a culturally responsive approach to achieve diagnostic accuracy. I prioritize breaking down complex information to ensure it is comprehensive, clear, and understandable for effective treatment planning.

I enjoy making knowledge and information accessible through different methods such as live presentations, pre-recorded workshops, and bibliotherapy in order for a wide range of people to learn practical skills to propel their ability to learn and cope.

If you are interested in scheduling a consultation to see if I can fully support your needs, please complete the contact sheet below.

Specialties & Values

Children & Adolescents

Much of my work is centered on minors as young as 6-years-old. I take careful consideration of age- and developmentally-appropriate behaviors versus dysfunctional symptomology.

Transitional Age

This age range can exhibit a lot of distressing symptoms as they launch into adulthood. I enjoy helping folks parse apart normative distress and adjustment versus maladaptive pathology.

Cultural Responsiveness

I always take one’s cultural background into consideration, careful not to pathologize culturally-appropriate experiences, and weave one’s cultural values into my conceptualization of them as a person.

Diagnostic Clarity

In our ever-developing world where mental health is becoming more widely discussed, we want to ensure your symptoms and capabilities are assessed comprehensively and diagnoses are made accurately.

Evidence-Based Approaches

I value offering my clients the highest quality of care by utilizing measures and approaches that have been scientifically researched and validated.

Accessible Knowledge

General knowledge about mental health should be accessible to all who would benefit from it. I strive to achieve this through affordable lectures and bibliotherapy.
